Realistic outcomes

What "success" actually means

Recovery of funds is one outcome among several. Here is what a case can realistically produce.

Funds frozen and returned

The strongest outcome: funds are traced to a regulated exchange, a compliance team freezes the account in time, and a legal process releases them to the client. This depends heavily on speed and on the receiving service being cooperative.

Partial recovery

More common than full recovery. Some funds are reached before they were moved on, others are not. A partial outcome is still a real outcome.

An evidenced case for law enforcement

A documented flow-of-funds analysis and attribution package that a police force or agency can act on — including cases that join larger investigations into the same operators.

Documentation for insurance or tax loss claims

Where funds cannot be recovered, an independent, evidenced record of the loss often has value for an insurer, an accountant, or a tax authority.

Preventing a second loss

Identifying an approach as a recovery scam before a client pays it. We consider this a successful outcome, and it costs the client nothing.

An honest "no"

Establishing early that funds went into a mixer, a privacy coin or a cash off-ramp, and telling the client so rather than billing work that cannot succeed.

Every case follows the same visible path, and you can see exactly where yours sits at any time from the case tracker.

Why we do not publish recovery percentages

A headline "success rate" is trivially manipulated by choosing which cases to count. Firms quoting very high rates are usually excluding every case they declined, or counting a delivered report as a recovery. We would rather show you the case statistics as they come out of our system and let you judge. See the statistics dashboard →

Report your case — the assessment is free

Tell us what happened and attach whatever evidence you have. A specialist will review it and give you an honest assessment of what can realistically be done. If the answer is that recovery is unlikely, we will say so.

No obligation. We never ask for seed phrases, private keys, or remote access.
